On February 17, 2026, the AIBC Eurasia summit in Dubai welcomed a remarkable 13,000 delegates, marking a significant milestone for the event that began in 2021. Hosted at the Dubai Festival City, this year”s summit showcased a vibrant mix of international participants and comprehensive sector engagement.
The upcoming 2027 edition promises to be even more expansive, aiming to attract 14,000 delegates from the MENA region and beyond. Notably, the summit will not only take place in Dubai but will also extend its activities to Ras Al Khaimah, featuring a full-day workshop and a tour of the soon-to-open Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, expected to be a highlight of the 2027 program.
This year”s AIBC Awards, powered by Oddin.gg, included charitable auctions that raised over €100,000, with proceeds directed to the SiGMA Foundation. The foundation focuses on healthcare and education initiatives. Recognitions during the awards included Haddzy earning the title of Best Streamer 2026 and SOFTSWISS awarded as Best Aggregator.
Networking formed a crucial part of the event”s agenda. The SiGMA Nexus Elite Golf Tour took place at the Trump International Golf Club, while a yacht networking event aboard the Lotus megayacht departed from Dubai Marina. The SiGMA Closing Party was held at Helipad by Frozen Cherry, featuring performances from various artists.
The summit also saw the participation of a government and diplomatic delegation consisting of nearly 70 representatives from various agencies and embassies. This engagement allowed for meaningful discussions on regulatory frameworks and industry trends, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Conference sessions, held from February 9 to 11, tackled various themes, including blockchain advancements, artificial intelligence, and regulatory matters. Notable speakers included Mattiaw Mende, who addressed accessibility challenges in blockchain technology, and Paul Dawalibi, who discussed the potential of Ras Al Khaimah as a technology hub.
Upcoming, the SiGMA Africa event is set for Cape Town from March 3 to 5, 2026, with expectations to draw around 3,000 delegates and support from over 15 regulatory authorities.
