Gate, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has officially rolled out web access to its TradFi platform, marking the end of its public beta phase. This new feature complements the existing app-based trading experience by enabling users to trade traditional financial assets across multiple devices.
The web version of Gate”s platform provides users with broader entry points for trading contracts-for-difference (CFDs) on major global instruments, including forex, metals, indices, commodities, and popular stocks. This capability allows traders to engage in price movements without the need to own the underlying assets.
Operating under a unified account system, Gate TradFi integrates crypto, spot, futures, and TradFi markets into a single platform. This eliminates the need for separate accounts, enhancing portfolio management and supporting cross-market strategies while minimizing operational complexity.
Users can utilize USDT as collateral, which is automatically displayed as USDx on a 1:1 basis, avoiding additional conversion or custody fees. This seamless integration allows users to trade, manage positions, and transfer funds effortlessly through both web and app interfaces, significantly lowering the barriers to entry for traditional financial asset trading.
Trading mechanics adhere to standard CFD conventions, featuring fixed trading hours, cross-margin mode, hedging options, and integration with the MT5 system for execution and risk management. Different asset classes come with varying leverage levels, supporting up to 500× for forex, metals, and indices, while stock CFDs offer up to 5× leverage, primarily targeting experienced traders.
Since its inception, Gate TradFi has achieved over $20 billion in total trading volume, with peak daily trading activity exceeding $5 billion. This impressive performance highlights the platform”s liquidity and user engagement.
To further stimulate user participation, Gate has introduced various TradFi-exclusive campaigns. The recent TradFi Launch Celebration rewarded users with a pool of $150,000 in gold and silver, while the “Gate TradFi Gold Lucky Bag” campaign has already distributed significant amounts of gold, with more phases planned.
With the public beta phase concluded and full multi-device access now operational, Gate has established a robust framework that bridges the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional financial trading. The platform”s integrated account architecture, standardized trading mechanics, extensive asset coverage, and low-cost structure lay a solid foundation for multi-asset strategies. Looking ahead, Gate aims to broaden its asset classes and enhance cross-market trading tools, supporting diversified trading and long-term asset allocation goals.
