The developer OP Labs, responsible for the Ethereum layer-2 network Optimism, recently disclosed the discovery of two security vulnerabilities in its fraud-proof system, currently undergoing testing on the testnet.

The vulnerabilities were identified by Offchain Labs, the team behind the layer-2 network Arbitrum, which is a significant competitor to Optimism.
