KuCoin has opened a new office in Sydney, appointing James Pinch as Australian Managing Director to drive local operations.

The new headquarters, located in the Sydney CBD, will serve as the central hub for KuCoin”s Australian operations. This initiative is expected to create skilled job opportunities in key areas such as compliance, operations, cybersecurity, and product development over the coming year.

James Pinch brings a wealth of experience from Australia”s financial services sector, with a background that encompasses traditional finance, mergers and acquisitions, and fintech. He has a proven track record of founding and scaling businesses focused on efficiency and transparency.

In his comments, Pinch emphasized KuCoin”s commitment to investing in local talent and capabilities, stating, “Australian investors are serious about digital assets, with the market projected to grow nearly 20% to $1.2 billion by 2026. They demand transparency, stability, and innovation, which KuCoin delivers through robust engagement and top-tier security.”
