GSR Enhances Institutional Trading Platform for Greater Transparency and Control

GSR has upgraded its GSR One platform to enhance transparency and control in crypto trading for institutions.

GSR, a prominent crypto liquidity provider, has announced an upgrade to its institutional trading and treasury platform, GSR One, aimed at consolidating market making, systematic OTC trading, and treasury management into a cohesive system. This enhancement offers clients real-time insights across all levels of market activity, as stated by GSR on Thursday.

The upgraded platform introduces several key features, including order book depth, tailored analytics, programmatic execution tracking, and improved market making insights. Additionally, it provides direct wallet control and security management. GSR highlighted that this development represents a full-stack solution that meets the growing demands of institutions for reliability and accountability from their crypto counterparts.

According to CEO Xin Song, the new system grants clients access to the same advanced systems and analytics that are utilized in GSR”s internal operations. The firm also stressed that the recent fluctuations in the market have underscored the necessity for robust and transparent liquidity provision, an area where institutional investors are increasingly seeking data-rich tools.

Recent data from TradingView reveals that the overall crypto market capitalization has diminished by approximately one-third since its peak in early October. GSR One enhances the onboarding process, integrates treasury workflows, and lays the groundwork for what GSR describes as the next generation of infrastructure for institutional digital assets.

This upgrade follows several enhancements to GSR”s systematic OTC platform earlier this year, which included expanded foreign exchange capabilities and broader asset coverage. By merging trading, execution, and treasury functions into a transparent, data-driven framework, GSR aims to align crypto markets more closely with the standards expected in traditional financial infrastructure.
