The week spanning November 30 to December 6, 2025, saw a remarkable increase in crypto venture capital funding, totaling $478.9 million across 18 projects. This surge marks a significant moment in the cryptocurrency space, underscoring ongoing investor confidence and the sector”s potential for growth.

Leading the charge was the acquisition of CoinMENA by the Turkish digital asset platform Paribu, valued at $240 million. This strategic move not only enhances Paribu”s market presence but also aims to drive innovation and expand opportunities for users throughout the MENA region.

In addition to CoinMENA, several other notable funding rounds took place this week. N3XT, a financial institution focused on programmable real-time settlement, successfully raised $72 million in a round backed by prominent investors including Paradigm, Hack VC, and Winklevoss Capital.

The Canton Network, which operates as a public Layer-1 blockchain, secured $50 million in a strategic fundraising round. The involvement of major players such as BNY Mellon, iCapital, and Nasdaq highlights the growing institutional interest in blockchain technologies.

Another significant player, Portal, raised $25 million in an undisclosed round, supported by JTSA Global. This decentralized exchange (DEX) continues to attract attention, having raised a total of $117.5 million so far.

Furthermore, Ostium Labs achieved a $20 million Series A funding round, achieving a fully diluted valuation of $250 million. Investors in this round included General Catalyst, Jump Trading, and Coinbase Ventures, reflecting a strong belief in Ostium”s perpetual exchange platform.

Other notable investments include Fin (formerly TipLink), which raised $17 million, and BitStack, securing $15 million. These funding rounds demonstrate the diverse opportunities emerging within the cryptocurrency landscape.

This week”s funding results indicate a robust appetite for investment in the crypto sector, with major acquisitions and significant capital inflows underscoring the industry”s ongoing evolution.
