Blockchain for Good Alliance Showcases Innovative Projects at 2025 Forum

The Blockchain for Good Alliance highlighted impactful blockchain initiatives at the 2025 Forum in Copenhagen.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Nov. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), a prominent non-profit organization established by Bybit, successfully wrapped up the Blockchain Impact Forum 2025 in Copenhagen. This event, held in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Alternative Finance Lab (AltFinLab), attracted over 300 participants including policymakers, technologists, and impact leaders from more than 30 nations to discuss how blockchain technology can contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Forum took place on November 4–5, commencing with an exclusive leadership day titled “Chains of Change.” This day focused on governance, digital public infrastructure, and partnerships across various sectors. The second day featured the inaugural BGAwards, which included the SDG Blockchain Accelerator Showcase organized by UNDP AltFinLab. This showcase highlighted blockchain initiatives addressing pressing issues such as financial inclusion, sustainability, and digital trust, marking a significant milestone for the blockchain sector.

The Forum”s agenda comprised interactive panels and keynote sessions centered around three primary themes: Blockchain for Digital Public Goods, which examined governance and transparent data systems; Finance for Inclusion and Impact, focusing on how blockchain can democratize capital access; and Sustainability and Climate Accountability, showcasing applications in carbon tracking and supply chain transparency.

Among the distinguished speakers were Helen Liu, Co-CEO of Bybit and founder of the Blockchain for Good Alliance; Robert Pasicko, Team Leader at UNDP AltFinLab; and other leaders from various blockchain organizations. Their discussions underscored the transformative potential of blockchain in fostering trust, enhancing transparency, and bridging the gap between technological innovation and global development.

In her remarks, Helen Liu stated, “Blockchain technology has matured beyond speculation. At the Forum, we witnessed how builders, governments, and institutions are leveraging it to promote transparency, accountability, and tangible social impact.”

The event concluded with the BGAwards 2025, celebrating blockchain projects that have made significant strides towards the SDGs and illustrated the potential of technology for social good. The winners of the SDG Blockchain Accelerator received $2,000 each, including Genius Tags, Plastiks, and ZenGate.

In the BGA Incubation 2025 category, winners included Kelox ($10,000), Give Hope ($3,000), and others across various stages of development. Joint initiatives with Hetu Protocol and Aura Sci recognized projects like Genpulse and Genosight, while collaborations with Masverse rewarded projects such as Cokeeps and Smart Orchard System.

This year”s award recipients highlight the Alliance”s dedication to promoting blockchain solutions that yield measurable benefits in sustainability, inclusion, and digital trust — effectively turning innovation into positive impact for communities worldwide.

Throughout the two-day Forum, participants emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure that blockchain innovation aligns with human development priorities. The event showcased how blockchain can reinforce institutional trust, unlock innovative financing models, and foster transparent systems that propel social and environmental advancements.

Helen Liu concluded, “What we witnessed in Copenhagen is a movement taking shape — where blockchain offers a shared infrastructure for trust and accountability. Our mission at BGA is to transform innovation into impact, ensuring that every block built contributes to a fairer, more sustainable future.”

The Blockchain for Good Alliance is committed to expanding its ecosystem and driving responsible blockchain initiatives that fulfill the promise of technology for a more inclusive and sustainable world.
