COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Nov. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), a leading non-profit established by Bybit, successfully wrapped up the Blockchain Impact Forum 2025 in Copenhagen, held in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Alternative Finance Lab (AltFinLab). This two-day event attracted over 300 stakeholders, including policymakers, technologists, and impact leaders from more than 30 countries, all focused on leveraging blockchain technology to drive measurable advancements toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Forum took place on November 4–5, starting with an invite-only leadership day titled “Chains of Change,” which emphasized governance, digital public infrastructure, and cross-sector collaborations. The second day spotlighted the BGAwards, featuring the SDG Blockchain Accelerator Showcase organized by UNDP AltFinLab. This segment highlighted innovative blockchain projects tackling pressing global issues such as financial inclusion, sustainability, and digital trust. The BGAwards marked a significant milestone as the first major convention entirely dedicated to showcasing blockchain”s potential for positive global impact.
The agenda at the Forum included interactive panels, keynote addresses, and project showcases centered around three primary themes:
- Blockchain for Digital Public Goods — Investigating governance, digital identity, and transparent data systems.
- Finance for Inclusion and Impact — Analyzing blockchain”s capacity to democratize access to capital and enhance financial equity.
- Sustainability and Climate Accountability — Presenting blockchain applications in carbon tracking, supply chain verification, and ESG reporting.
Keynote speakers included prominent figures such as Helen Liu, Co-CEO of Bybit and BGA founder, Robert Pasicko, Team Leader at UNDP AltFinLab, and Frederik Gregaard, CEO of the Cardano Foundation. Their discussions underscored the transformative role of blockchain in establishing trust-based systems and enhancing transparency while bridging innovation with global developmental goals.

Joint Fund Initiatives included: BGA × Hetu Protocol × Aura Sci: Genpulse (1st – $30,000), Genosight (2nd – $20,000), Ideosphere (3rd – $10,000), and BGA × Masverse: Cokeeps, Smart Orchard System, WeeKongSi ($20,000 each).
Special recognition was awarded to Adam Flinter and Mickey Amami with the Stewardship Awards, while Dr. Lisa Cameron received the Commendation Award.
