COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Nov. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), a non-profit initiative founded by Bybit, successfully wrapped up the Blockchain Impact Forum 2025 in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Alternative Finance Lab (AltFinLab). This event, held on November 4–5, attracted over 300 policymakers, technologists, and impact leaders from more than 30 countries, all focused on exploring how blockchain technology can facilitate measurable advancements toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Forum featured an agenda designed around key themes, including “Blockchain for Digital Public Goods,” “Finance for Inclusion and Impact,” and “Sustainability and Climate Accountability.” Interactive panels, keynotes, and project showcases were integral to the discussions. The first day commenced with “Chains of Change,” an exclusive leadership session dedicated to governance, digital public infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration. The second day highlighted the BGAwards, which celebrated blockchain initiatives that tackle pressing global issues related to financial inclusion and sustainability, showcasing the inaugural major convention focused solely on the positive global impact of blockchain technology.
The BGAwards 2025 recognized several projects for their outstanding contributions to the SDGs. Winners of the SDG Blockchain Accelerator, each receiving $2,000, included Genius Tags, Plastiks, and ZenGate. In the BGA Incubation 2025 category, the Ideation Stage saw Kelox take first place with a $10,000 prize, followed by Give Hope, Nuva, and Social Activation, each awarded $3,000. In the Growth Stage, Token Tails won $30,000, with Rumsan and EsusFarm earning $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.
Special recognition was given to Adam Flinter and Mickey Amami with Stewardship Awards, while Dr. Lisa Cameron received the Commendation Award. These honorees reflect the Alliance”s dedication to promoting blockchain solutions that foster measurable progress in sustainability, inclusion, and digital trust.
