Thomas Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, emphasized that the firm acquired 50,928 ETH recently, viewing the market pullback as an opportunity given the underlying fundamentals of Ethereum.
Bitmine currently has 3,040,483 ETH staked, translating to approximately $6.0 billion at the current price. The company expects to generate significant staking revenues, estimating potential annual rewards of around $253 million once its staking operations are fully optimized. Lee indicated that Bitmine has staked more ETH than any other entity globally, leveraging its upcoming Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) for enhanced staking infrastructure.
With a 5-day average trading volume of $0.8 billion, Bitmine ranks as the 145th most traded stock in the United States. The company continues to draw support from a notable group of institutional investors, including Cathie Wood from ARK, Founders Fund, and Pantera Capital, as it aims for its goal of acquiring 5% of the total ETH supply.
The current geopolitical climate, particularly the ongoing U.S. military operations in Iran, could impact both financial and digital asset markets. However, Bitmine remains committed to its Ethereum treasury strategy, focusing on acquisition and yield optimization.
