Ark Invest has amplified its investment in Bullish, acquiring additional shares as the stock experienced a remarkable surge of over 16%. This uptick coincided with a broader rally in the equity markets. Following significant stock purchases late last week, Ark”s recent transactions have solidified its position in the cryptocurrency-related firm.
On the latest trading day, Ark Invest purchased 57,164 shares of Bullish across three of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs), amounting to an estimated total of $1.83 million based on the closing price. This followed its earlier acquisition of 716,030 shares of Bullish, which encompassed purchases totaling approximately $17.8 million across its flagship ETFs, including the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and ARK Innovation ETF.
In a notable shift, Ark also reduced its holdings in Coinbase Global, selling approximately 119,236 shares valued at $17.4 million on the same day. This marked Ark”s first divestment from Coinbase since August 2025 and its inaugural sale in 2026. Ark continued its sell-off the following day, offloading 134,472 Coinbase shares, valued at nearly $22.1 million. In total, Ark sold over $39 million worth of Coinbase stock within just two days.
On February 9, Cathie Wood”s firm made several strategic adjustments across its ETFs, further solidifying its bullish stance while rebalancing other investments. The ARKK (Innovation ETF) added shares in companies such as Tempus AI and Roblox, while trimming its positions in others like PagerDuty and Trade Desk. Notably, Ark also acquired shares of Kodiak AI within the ARKQ (Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF).
As these transactions unfolded, Bullish”s stock climbed to close at $32.05, significantly up from its previous closing of $27.45. The stock traded within a range of $27.96 to $32.41 during the day, although it fell slightly by 0.97% to $31.74 in after-hours trading. This rise in Bullish was paralleled by gains in several other stocks, including Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Palantir Technologies, Circle Internet Group, and CleanSpark.
U.S. equity indices showed modest gains, with the S&P 500 increasing by 0.47% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising by 20.20 points. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) traded at approximately $69,786, representing a decline of 1.36% from the previous day, as it fluctuated between $68,500 and $71,000 throughout the trading session.
